Cincinnati, OH — In partnership with MRSI Research and Tri-Health Hand Rehabilitation, Isotoner sponsors a quantitative research study to better quantify the overwhelming benefits of using the open-finger Isotoner Therapeutic glove for rehabilitation purposes.

The study was conducted over a four week time period for each patient. The patient conditions varied from post surgical to arthritis swelling. A survey was conducted prior to beginning use of the gloves then again after two weeks of regular glove use. Both swelling and pain relief were reported to significantly decrease after the first two weeks of use then even more after an additional two weeks.

"We understood the swelling relief properties of the therapeutic fabric, but we wanted to further look at how the gloves were being used in a real world, rehabilitation environment and we were very pleased with the results, in that the gloves even further after two weeks of use provide additional comfort by reducing hand swelling and relieving discomfort to the patient."
